Faramore was created to help families travel more.

The name comes from fara — an old Norse word for travel. Faramore is for families who want to travel more.

I started Faramore as a travel blog — a place to document the trips my family took, the lessons I picked up the hard way, and the kind of detail you can't find on a review site. The more I shared, the more friends — and then strangers — started asking me to plan their trips. So I did. And then I made it official.

Now Faramore is a travel planning studio.

I plan the trips I'd want to take. That's the short version.

The longer version: I've been to most of the places I plan, often with my own kids. I know which jungle lodge in Belize has the best guides versus the best beds. I know which Hawaiian island is right for your family — and the must-do adventures on each. I know how to explore Alaska by road — and why that beats a crowded cruise ship every time.

I work with one family at a time — no assistants, no junior planners, no scripted "tiers." Every itinerary is built around your specific people, your timeline, and your tolerance for adventure. When you travel, I'm reachable. When you're home, I follow up.

My family

My husband and I have three young girls. They're the reason this work matters to me — I recognize the time I have with them is fleeting, which is why I'm on a mission to experience the world together. We're a family of five who travels hard and shares what we learn along the way.

The trip that changed how I travel

A girls' trip through Iceland I planned start to finish. Somewhere between the black sand beaches and the geothermal springs, I realized I didn't want to plan trips only for my friends and family anymore — I wanted to build a planning studio. Faramore came together on that journey around the Golden Circle.
